Bone Broth Brunch
These mushrooms on toast are packed with nutrients and so rich in flavour.
Mushrooms on toast but make it decadent! We’ve sautéed our mushrooms in a little garlic, butter and our Organic Mushroom Bone Broth to create the most perfect slow morning brunch.
Ingredients
Sliced Mushrooms (we used white cup and shiitake)
Minced garlic clove
The Wholesome Bones Co Organic Mushroom Broth
Dash Water
Butter
Salt
Pepper
Pecorino
Crusty sourdough
Chopped herbs to top (we used parsley, dill and shallots)
A quality chilli oil (optional)
Method
Sauté the sliced mushrooms and garlic in butter on a medium heat until soft. Seasoning to taste.
Add a tablespoon of broth and dash of water to the pan and reduce heat. Stirring as the liquid reduces.
Toast crusty sourdough and top with finished mushrooms.
Grate pecorino over the mushrooms and top with herbs. Drizzle with chilli oil and flaked salt. Enjoy x
